READY Checklist

Soooo I have this student with Autism and I have been struggling to get him to be ready during small group time. The other day I made a quick list on the whiteboard of what I expected to see and it seemed to help him meet my expectations (or maybe I just got lucky :)).

With this in mind, I decided to make a general checklist that could be used with all students.
I frequently say to my students "Are you ready?" This is where the READY Checklist came from. Now when I say "Are you READY?" or "Show me your READY." it will have more meaning to it.

At my TPT Store, you will find both a free version of the READY Checklist and a $2 version. The $2 version contains graphics next to the acronym and has a female and male version.

Technical Support Checklist

Hello,

I have been working on making a checklist for the Technical Support role at our school. Two students from each class are assigned the job of "Technical Support" or "Technicians". At the end of each classes' computer lab time, the Technical Support does a walk through using this checklist to help maintain the condition of our computer labs.

The checklist has both words and picture so students of all ages are able to utilize it. It also comes as a PDF for easy printing and a PowerPoint file so that you can edit it.

Have a great day,

Math Sorts

Hello Everyone!

I haven't posted in a while. With the start of the school year, I have had a lot going on both personally and professionally. The last weekend my husband and I painted the entire exterior of our house. It looks way better! I am so glad I do not have to pull up to a salmon colored stripe down the middle of my house anymore.

Anyways, I am working on making some Math Sorts. I have a few extra small pocket charts that I decided to hang up on the wall in my reading corner. Word sorts are such a hit in my classroom that I decided I wanted to make one of these pocket charts a Math Sort. I have attached a link to the preview of these Math Sorts. I am hoping to post the finished product up soon. In the meantime, I hope you try these out and they work for you and your students.

Have a great night,

Mrs. Conte
